Tobago Cays Excursion
The Tobago Cays consist of nine islands, five of which are uninhabited and a four-kilometer long Horseshoe Reef teeming with the Caribbean’s best underwater wildlife. This must-see attraction if you’re in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a protected nature reserve that the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines purchased from private ownership in 1998. A portion of Pirates of the Caribbean was actually filmed on these islands!
Here you can spend the day swimming with sea turtles, stingrays and snorkeling in the iconic clear blue-green waters of the Caribbean all morning followed by a beach picnic lunch. There are a number of operators who have day packages from St. Vincent, Bequia and Mustique to the Tobago Cays.

The Pro Center Kiteboarding School on Union Island also offers day trips to Tobago Cays. After two snorkeling stops in the morning, one of which is Tobago Cays, an on-board hostess serves lunch including fish, chicken, rice, vegetables, different salads, fruits and cookies. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks plus beer are available and included throughout the day. Adults are $85 per person for a full day of snorkeling including lunch on the boat, which is an exceptional value.

The Friendship Rose on Bequia
The Friendship Rose is a beautiful schooner offering day trips to Mustique and the Tobago Cays. Three brothers built her by hand from local wood on Friendship Bay between 1963 and 1967 and she was used as a mail boat, a cargo boat and then a ferry. After a number of years out of use, The Friendship Rose was recently renovated and now runs day trips around the Grenadines.
You can organize for picnics on private beaches as part of this experience as well, they are happy to customize. Their popular Mustique trip includes breakfast, lunch and tea on board and time to explore this private and exclusive island.
