Another popular destination is The Old Police Station that is an abandoned building in the Deptford area of south London. There are DIY spaces here for artists to create their work in the shipping containers in the courtyard and the tiled cells inside. There are amazing regular cultural evenings held on the last Friday of every month where cultural types gather to have a drink and discuss art. The Viktor Wynd Fine Art venue is in Hackney, and has many unusual pieces including skulls, shells and taxidermy. The excellent art work is found on the first-floor gallery and many visitors will adore this unique curiosity shop.
