Head even further down the beach away from the crazy drunken tourists and you'll find an even better bar... The Sunflower Beach Bar. Best spot for chilling out on Phi Phi island, day or night. With hammocks, salas (little huts with leaf roofs), groovy chairs/table settings made out of long-tail boats, it's the most unique place on the island. The bar refuses to sell buckets, and offers cheap beers and cocktails instead. Plays great mix of new, alternative, classic and Australian music. Owner Ben (thai guy) lost everything in the tsunami (including wife, two daughters, sister, house, business etc) but is now rebuilding his life and business. Go and challenge him to a game of (free) pool. Also has free wi-fi :)
