The Royal Kamuela – Inside Archipelago’s new 5-Star Malaysian Getaway

One of the Middle East’s most respected hotel chains is breaking exciting new ground, with Indonesia’s Archipelago International announcing plans to open a spectacular, five-star resort in Malaysia. It’s big news in Malaysia and, listening to what they have planned, it’s going to turn heads all around the world.

The resort will be Archipelago’s third development in the country, adding to the Hotel NEO Penang and Cenang Beach Langkawi resorts. The company needs to be something special to follow those resorts, which have fast become favorites with tourists and business visitors alike, thanks to their luxurious locations and facilities.

The Royal Kamuela Villa Port Dickson, scheduled to open in 2021, certainly seems to fit the bill in that respect. Taking a deeper look into what they’ve got planned, it seems we can look forward to…

The Personal Touch

The Royal Kamuela will take the form of 68 separate one- and two-bedroom villas, each with its own individual garden and private pool. That has to be good news for anyone sick of waking at six in the morning to ensure the chance to bask in peace. These villas will be conveniently located close to a central reception area, which will comprise of several luxury attractions that make it a perfect relaxation station.

Your Relaxation Awaits

In the reception area you’ll find a wellness center and spa; ideal for anyone on a weekend away from work. Between the massages and treatments on offer here, and the tropical themed open-air lounge areas that are perfect for romantic dinners, just reading about it is enough to make you feel more relaxed already.

A Stunning Location

Archipelago have come up trumps when it comes to siting – the development is sited in Dickson Bay, a prime coastal location where palm fronds and blue waters are the order of the day. It may take a long haul to get to Kuala Lumpur International, but the in-flight WiFi means you can while the time away with a few hours of Panda Pow slot gaming before touching down and disembarking to some of the finest views the Middle East can offer.

Superb Golfing Options

As well as an 18-hole golf course on the doorstep, the Royal Kamuela Port Dickson is close to the vaunted Dickson Bay Golf Club, much adored by pros and keen amateurs alike. If you enjoy a round or two back home, imagine how much more idyllic it will be with the bay views on offer here.

A Great Family Experience

While there’s plenty here for couples and business travelers to enjoy, the resort is also certain to be a hit with families, as two-bedroom villas with their own pool will allow everyone their own space; the location is also perfectly placed to allow you to visit the largest waterpark in the state at Tiara Beach.

With a few years to wait between now and opening, there are likely to be more exciting announcements in the pipeline from Archipelago about what may be added to the development.
