If you’re thinking of taking a trip abroad and expecting to take your car or rent a vehicle, there’s a few things you will need to know first. The items which you may or may not already carry in your car are in some places essential – in fact, if you’re not properly kitted out, you could end up with a fine.
In various parts of Europe, there are different rules and regulations on top of the usual road safety rules. You may find that you need to have a breathalyser in the car, or at least two reflective jackets.
