My 1st impression is the feeling you get when you arrive somewhere new for the first time, when you go out of the station, or you step out of a bus, and you find the most beautiful scenery ever, just in front of you. You are there pure, blank, ready to absorb that place and that great feeling of discovery with all your senses. In the last 10 years I have been recording mine in the pages of my old diaries. I have the first impressions of London and Iceland, Cornwall and Norway, I wrote my pages of the Ornkey and of the Lofoten Isles, I have my impressions of Queenstown and Isafjordur and many many more...I love to think that in many years to come, when someone will ask me how a certain place was, instead of saying it 's impossible to describe it, I can open my diary pages and let my emotions flow out...
