Published travel writer (Let's Go China 2000, 2001, and 2003 editions) with active travel blog (www.coldmountaincollective.com) that focuses on mindful travel and living suggestions. Graduated from Harvard University (B.A., 2002) where studies included Mandarin Chinese, Chinese history and society, and anthropology. Studied creative writing (M.F.A., 2011) at UC-San Diego. Currently a novelist based in Los Angeles, California (US), but with frequent travel to China for research and globally for adventure.
