Isla McKetta

Isla McKetta has been traveling since she was in utero. She lived in Chile for a year under Pinochet and in Poland between the fall of the Berlin Wall and Poland's entrance into the EU. She speaks several languages. A novelist by night and a blogger by day, Isla earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Goddard College. Isla’s undergraduate studies included Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Washington. She makes her home in Seattle where she is on the board of Richard Hugo House.
